Like the sun overhead, casting light far and wide, bright and warm.
The Day Master is the heavenly stem of your day pillar and the centre of a BaZi chart: every other character is read as a relationship to it. Bing appears as a Day Master in 丙寅, 丙子, 丙戌, 丙申, 丙午 and 丙辰, one for each branch it can sit on.
Nature
Bing is fire at its most public: the sun, not the lamp. It illuminates without asking permission and is difficult to ignore. People with this Day Master are usually visible in any group, generous with energy, and impatient with ambiguity — they would rather act and correct than wait and wonder.
Strengths
Warmth, initiative, and the ability to make a room move in one direction.
Where it strains
Intensity that consumes its own fuel. Bing can spend reserves without noticing, and can mistake speed for progress.
Work and vocation
Leadership, founding, performance, sales, media, or emergency work where momentum is the point.
Relationships
Generous and direct. You show love by doing, and you may miss what someone needed said out loud.
The six Bing day pillars
A Day Master meets six different branches across the sixty-year cycle. Each pairing changes the tone of the stem, so read the one that matches your birth day.
Find your Day Master
You do not need to work it out by hand. Enter your birth date, time and place, and the calculator returns all four pillars along with your Day Master and five-element balance.
